1. If a white man kills a slave, it is a crime that can be solved by fine($).
2. Slaves can NEVER attack a white person except in defense of their owner's life.
3. Slaves are not allowed to dress in a way ABOVE the conditions of what slaves should wear.
(clothing should be made of coarse fabrics)

Slaves in America were governed by the law called the 'Negro Act'. This made black slaves to be bought and sold by anyone who were classified as white . The Negro act defined the punishments that slaves would get, or the whites who helped the them(slaves). Also, it stated the laws that the slaves needed to follow. For example, if slaves assembled with one another they would be whipped. Also, after slaves were freed if they could not work to pay the tax, they would be re-enslaved and sold back into slavery.
